I am a huge fan of Adrian, have it in black and now I ordered the checkered one and sized up to wear as a dress with an oversized look. Hoping for more Adrian colors in the furure and maybe even a denim one with a 90s type wash? 😍 The brown checkered one super cute and I absolutely love it!! The only odd thing is that I keep seeing the squares in the middle turned into rectangles when it’s buttoned up lol but it’s just where the fabric was cut when making this piece I guess! I still love it but would just suggest minding where it will be cut when in production so that the front looks the same as the rest of the print, especially being something so symmetrical like checkered print.
I don’t suggest sizing up if you intend to wear it open as a shirt unless you want it baggyyy! This is the XL in the photo but tbh my black one is Large and I also love it as a dress, it’s just more of a slim fit than the XL. For reference I’m usually a size 14 (with a few stuff in 12 or 16 depending on the fit I’m going for) and a true L with just very few items in XL (not Girrlscout, this is now my first GS in XL).
I’m wearing black shorts under, they’re shorter than the shirt.
Btw I ordered from Toronto, Canada and this time no duties were charged, arrived super quickly!

I’ve been thinking about getting the classic black Adrian for a while, but when this one was released, I couldn’t wait any longer. This shirt is SO comfortable and flowy. As a bigger person, I was worried that it wouldn’t be oversized and I wouldn’t be able to pull of the look, but it’s perfect. Love it so much I bought the OG the same week!

I have all the other Adrian shirts and this one is so perfect, I love the pattern and the length is great for me (5'2")
