The Sloane Cargo Pant - Black

Got these for Christmas and am excited to wear them! I have the olive and checkered Sloanes already, so I had to add basic black to the collection to go with everything. :-)

Bit tighter than my Jude so need to stretch it a bit or loose a bit more weight haha but the fabric is amazing. Love the look. Can't wait to wear it.

One of my favorite pants! So versatile and so flattering, goes with everything and my 🍑 looks awesome in it haha!! I usually wear size L and have 2 other sloanes in L but I found they turned out too loose everywhere on me (except for the elastic waist), I felt like I was swimming in them, the front part around the zip closure is too baggy and creating an added lower belly volume, also a bit loose on my butt and wayyy too loose on my thighs and knees not in a cool baggy style, just looks like the wrong size. But the elastic on the waist was perfect since I have a stomach. For the black sloanes I decided to size down and go for the medium size, and it’s PERFECT on my butt, front, hips and legs, while still being a relaxed fit but now it looks right for me! The only thing with the medium is that the elastic on the waist is too tight on my stomach, so I undid just a tiny section of the back seams (the inside part) on each side of the tag, cut the elastic, re-did the seams and also sewed a small section where the new ends of the elastic are now sitting on each side, just to keep it in place and avoid it from rolling/bunching up. This fixed the issue and now the waist is the perfect size and still stretchy towards the sides instead of it being elastic across the entire back side which wouldn’t be an issue if the elastic weren’t so strong. I hope that makes sense and helps if anyone else needs to make this type of adjusment! I’m adding pics here showing the M on me before & after making the adjustment on the waist. These are now one of my fave pants ever and I’m super happy with how they turned out ❤️❤️❤️
That being said, if you have more hips butt & thighs than a stomach I’d suggest sticking with your usual waist size!

I absolutely cannot get enough of these pants! I started with the checkered ones and now need all the colors! I will say, the waist on the black is a bit more snug than the checkered ones, but not enough that I feel like I'd need to size up. The rest of the pants would be too big otherwise. The elastic still gives enough wiggle room overall to be comfortable. (I ordered a small and generally wear a size 4/6 in jeans. My waist is 30" and my hips are 38" for reference.)

I have been waiting these since they dropped but wasn’t sure how I would like the fit (skinny jeans girl over here). But I got these for Christmas and they fit so well and I felt like a badass wearing them! 5’6” 170lbs and the Large fit nicely.
